Don't Call it a Comeback

You can call it a “reel”, you can call it a “best of”, you can call it whatever you want. Just don't call it a comeback (insert the next line of the song you are singing in your head right now ;-)
For "reel" though I have been here for years. Although 2025 was a bit of a shake up. I had taken some hard hits in 2024. For half a decade I had rested somewhat on the comfort of an expected singular workflow. When that abruptly went away mid 2024 I had to rebuild in many ways. I went into 2025 with a new look, a fresh perspective and proved to myself and to newfound clients that I can still create some meaningful “reel feel” video work.
When I watch this I don't feel like these are the "best" or “most epic” video shots I have ever taken. What they do represent is a new era where I have found a specific tone and style as a filmmaker that cuts through the old noise of the past. 2025 was a damn good year of rebuilding and discovery. Now Let’s get on to 2026, yeehaw 🤠
